I agree with @klesh here, although I understand your pain point (as I am experiencing a similar one with a repo that takes also around 8 hours per run). Yet: Firstly according to GitHub docs: > This API is not built to serve real-time use cases. Depending on the time of day, event latency can be anywhere from 30s to 6h.
