i am getting same problem (without the logs shared by @georgibalkandjiev )
bitbucket-connection test run successfully but when adding a new data scope
I get an empty list of repos and from the UI i get "No data to select"
the api/plugins/bitbucket/connections/1/remote-scopes is returning
**{"children":[],"nextPageToken":""}**
and these are the logs from the backend
