The logging strategy will become clearer quite soon hopefully. A little while ago there was a vote and we decided to use nlog4j, produced by Ceki who also wrote log4j.
Anyway, the idea is that logging will appear in 0.9.2 . :)

Right. There's no support for log4j right now. We're under discussion on choosing a logging framework. :)
