[ApacheDS] What about using Retroweaver?

Hi,

I'm implementing ACL support for ApacheDS.  I encounter so many places where Generics should kick in, but we're targetting JDK 1.4.  It would be nice if we can use Generics at least when we develop the application using Retroweaver.  Yes, I know Generics doesn't protect anything in runtime, but I think it is OK as long as we use Java 5 compilers while we develop.
