Hi Trustin,

I found the problem.
It's a problem of my code, I have forgotten to stop a thread pool used by some clients.

Sorry for my misleading post.

Thanks
Paolo

    Hi Trustin,

[ sorry for this new thread but I miss the previous "Shutdown problem"
    thread ]

It seems that the problem persists.
In my last test, after shutdown, I found these 2 alive threads in
    the vm
    thread dump:

Please let me know if you've got any further information. It is strange that BaseThreadPool.stop() isn't displayed in the dump.

Cheers,
Trustin
