Yes that's correct. Also note that some of the IoHandler session
lifecycle methods won't be called for datagram sessions (sessionOpened,
sessionClosed and sessionIdle).
Rainer Bieniek addressed a few good issues, and I commented another idea to resolve the overhead creating IoSessions everytime:
