I noticed that the partition
documentation on directory.apache.org hinted that one could set up a partition
that utilized JDBC to point to a user database. This is exactly what I would
like to do, for a web app with a small set of users utilizing a lightweight
database. However, there are no hints that I can find on your site for how to
achieve this.
I am new to LDAP, so I
apologize for the newbie nature of this query, but could someone give me a hint
on how to go about creating a partition that utilizes JDBC? It seems that I
have to extend the AbstractDirectoryStructure ... how does this fit in to the
greater LDAP picture? How does this get called from ApacheDS?
