I confirm that it is a bug...
The LdapName parser get trapped in a infinite loop in this special case.
I don't think we will fix it for RC1, but we sure will for RC2. (RC1
will be out those days)
FYI, we have another version of the LdapName parser, which will not go
into an infinite loop with this bad DN, but will just let it go like if
it was mail=mail.
So, please, could you fill a JIRA with your bug, and attach the code, so
we can just remember to fix it?

a must, and each time people like you reports bugs like that, it's a
step in the right direction !
