a mistake in the press release?
Hi John,
Your cite is from the Open Group press release, isn't it?
The answer is yes and no ;-) It is a little bit more complicated.
ApacheDS 1.0 compiles and runs in a 1.4 environment. But 1.5 is
necessary for our SSL functionality (ldaps on port 636), which is
mandatory for some of the compliance tests from the Open Group.
Therefore our certification is only valid for 1.5 (i.e. a server running
under a 1.4 would not pass all tests).
I hope this helps,
Stefan
