Enhanced guide ?

Hi Ldap buddies,

is someone on this list can tell me what this "Enhanced Guide" (and it's 
obsolete form, "Guide") is good for ? I guess that it was a kind of help 
for clients, but I don't see how it can be used ...

Any insight welcome !
