I have secured an Open Source license for another commercial build server to try out called Pulse from Zutubi. One of the founders sent a nice email reply telling us that they use ADS for testing their LDAP functionality so I thought I would post it here. This is one of the better rated build servers out there so I will set up a parallel build environment for Pulse and try it out. At one point the new version was going to be OSGi based, so that should be interesting to see.
Thanks, Chris ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Jason Sankey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Jun 30, 2007 10:08 AM Subject: Pulse Open Source License To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi Chris, Thank you for your open source license request and welcome to the Pulse community :). Here is your license for the Apache Directory Project: (Removed) To install this license, go into the Edit License page in the "Administration" section. Copy and paste the above license key into the form and your pulse installation will be updated. It is great to know that Apache Directory will get some use out of Pulse, as we have ourselves benefited from your project. It was (and remains) the easiest directory for us to set up for testing our own LDAP integration functionality. We are glad to be able to give something back. Our next major release, Pulse 2.0 will be entering its early access phase "Real Soon Now". This release contains a host of new features and improvements, including plugin support and templated project configuration. These features take pulse one big step forward in terms of usability and usefulness, and we are very excited about them. As always, we are very interested to hear what you think of Pulse, be it good or bad. It is this feedback from our user community that allows us to ensure that Pulse development continues to provide those features that are most useful to the users. If you have anything on your continuous integration wish list, please let us know. Kind regards and happy building! Jason
