Turning off logging in velocity

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to turn off the logging in velocity especially in the
maven plugins we're using?
I keep getting these annoying log messages from velocity:

    Oct 5, 2007 10:00:13 PM org.apache.velocity.runtime.log.JdkLogChute log
INFO: Null reference [template 'LOG', line 38, column 13] : $Rev cannot be
resolved.
