Hey Guys, This is a cross between the [Feedback Needed] thread and David's EclipseLink DAS and JPA forwarded message.
One more huge pro is dynamic schema creation. As can be seen in the EclipseLink DAS and JPA message that David just forwarded, LDAP could be considered much more frequently by the broader community for java persistence. For example it is excluded in the list of storage technologies being considered here: http://www.jpox.org/docs/product_overview.html And was missing in Tuscany until just recently. I think David's idea of using the JPOX/JPA interfaces for the Java Object <> LDAP Mapping layer would be really slick, and do a lot of good in terms of shining a light on ADS...Over Heeeere.
