Unable to do a DSML Export from eDirectory

When I right click a User object and choose that I want to export it to a DSML
file I get the DSML Export window, it goes to 50%, says Exporting DSML: and
just sits there with the CPU usage going up to 50%.
I've waited as most for 10 minutes without any result, pressing the stop button
does nothing, the status changes to (Cancelled) but it doesn't stop, clicking
Cancel also does nothing forcing me to kill the process.
I've tested with four different eDirectory trees running version 8.7.3.9 and
8.8.2.
