This is the pom in tags? How did that happen? I'm a bit worried it's
a consequence of people checking out the project pom when they don't
need to and then accidentally modifying it.

We have other problems too. The fact is that we are pointing to the
project/pom.xml, version 8 instead of version 9-SNAPSHOT, because
we are releasing. This project/pom.xml is not ok : it contains
