Martin Schuster reported us on the Users ML that his /root partition has been
completely erased when he tried to install Apache DS 1.5.2 from the binary
installer.

The problem occured in the bootstrap script which extracts the installer and
runs it.
We really should add some code that prevent the bootstrap script from
continuing if an error occurs.
