1) Copy a string to the clipboard such as: 1111111111
2) In the LDAP Browser right click an OU entry and select New Search
3) Click the filter field, it becomes selected
4) Type in cn=
5) Press CTRL-V to paste in the string
6) Press Enter to accept, the string is gone and the filter is changed to cn=*
7) You have to remove the * and paste the string again. Annoying.
