Eugen Paraschiv commented on DIRSERVER-1204:
--------------------------------------------
I think this will an important feature of the ACI system, as it will add much
needed flexibility and allow for many operations which would otherwise be
impossible. The way the current ACI works, there is no way to set rules of
access for the subtree of the current user, so this will allow the user to set
one rule for a whole group of users, so that each user can access his own
substructure. This propriety (a user having access to his own substructure) is
not only very important, but also very intuitive, because there is no reason
why a user would have access to his own entry and not his substructure. I can't
wait for this to make it's way into an official release.
