cannot read attribute from items with a / in the dn

I use ldap to store some heimdal entries, for example:
krb5PrincipalName=kadmin/[EMAIL PROTECTED],ou=Users,ou=Authentication,l=earth
When i click in DirectoryStudio on this item i get an error message:
Read Attributes -> LDAP: error code 32: No such Object
Read Children -> LDAP: error code 32: No such Object
If i select the item [EMAIL PROTECTED],ou=Users,ou=Authentication,l=earth
everything works as expected.
