ActiveDirectory attribute EmployeeID not showing up via Ldap? wondering why?

Hello,
I have directory studio working fine, I can pull a user profile and have many
many attributes. Strangely though, Im not seeing several attributes, one of
which is EmployeeID. Im sure this is an issue because I can use [AD
Explorer|http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963907.aspx] on the
actual box and that attribute and its value are listed - when connecting as the
same user Im using for LDAP lookup...
Can anyone shed light on why this might be?
