The Basic User's Guide has originally been created with confluence. Felix has
migrated a version to svn; it is now possible to generate output in PDF as well.
Unfortunately, the current version in svn is outdated and incomplete.
This task is to complete a version (which basically means combine content from
earlier versions, e.g. 1.0) and update it to the current 1.5.7

We will later derive a version for 2.0 from that.
Most of the content is generic anyway, and a introduction/tutorial is needed
especially for current users.
