Support for :caseExactMatch: queries
-------------------------------------
Key: DIRSTUDIO-790
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-790
Project: Directory Studio
Issue Type: Improvement
Affects Versions: 1.5.3
Reporter: Jim Birch
Priority: Minor
The ":caseExactMatch:" match is a ldap standard option
(http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3698#section-2.2) that should be supported.
eg: (sn:caseExactMatch:=Anderson)
I'm not sure how this works but if this is a handled on the server side what is
needed is for the query parser to allow the construct in queries. (Which is
hopfully not too hard to implement.) Currently, adding it disables the search
button.
