-----------------------------------------------------------

Thx for pointing me to this multi-edit via batch operation.

It's still not working for me: Online Execution is greyed out - only ldif
creation is selectable (OpenDJ 2.4.3)
(Yes I've write permissions with the account connected..)

In the batch dialog I've to select the action "add" or "replace" for an
attribute.
Should a mixed edit of an attribute which is already existent in some of the
entries work with batch operation whren I select replace - or is this a fire
and forget ldif action?

Hint for others: Multiple entry selection has to be done in the left pane
(e.g.) search results
Wish: Entries should be selectable also in the right pane, because there - you
can sort and select by additional attributes other than the "dn"

My comments reflect v1.5.3

> Select multiple directory objects -> right-click "Edit Multiple Objects" ->
> set a specific attribute value for all of the selected objects.
