Reuben Popp created DIRSTUDIO-830:
-------------------------------------
Summary: After installing Apache Directory Studio LDAP browser
plugin, there is no LDAP context
Key: DIRSTUDIO-830
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-830
Project: Directory Studio
Issue Type: Bug
Components: studio-ldapbrowser
Affects Versions: 2.0.0-M3
Environment: FreeBSD 9.1-RC1 amd64, openjdk 6, eclipse Indigo (3.7.1)
Reporter: Reuben Popp
Hello out there. I've attempted to install the LDAP browser plugin for
eclipse, but upon a restart, there isn't an LDAP context. I've attempted
installation via Eclipse's add software using the source repository link
(http://directory.apache.org/studio/update/2.x). I have even tried an older
release (1.5.x) with the same result.
I have also attempted building it from a svn co (2.0.0.v20120224). The build
finishes successfully, afterwhich I built the application-updatesite portion.
This also completes successfully. However, Eclipse does not see any software
anywhere under the root directory of the build (and apparently doesn't like the
zip files in application-updatesite).
Eclipse doesn't show any errors and I don't see a log file under
~/workspace/.metadata. Is there something I'm missing here?
