Konrad Windszus commented on DIRSTUDIO-912:
-------------------------------------------

The problem only occurs, if you select DIT in the LDAP browser, before you
select import from the menu. Then the "Import Into" field is being empty and
the wrong error message "Selected logfile already exists. Select option
'Overwrite existing logfile' if you want to overwrite the logfile." is shown.
It does not happen if you select the import from the context menu from within
the LDAP Browser view on DIT.

> Importing an LDIF twice leads to error "Selected logfile already exists.
> Select option 'Overwrite existing logfile' if you want to overwrite the
> logfile.", although overwriting log files is checked.

> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 2.0.0-M6

> The second time I try to import the same LDIF I always get the error
> "Selected logfile already exists. Select option 'Overwrite existing logfile'
> if you want to overwrite the logfile." Therefore the "Finish" button is
> disabled. Neither selecting 'Overwrite existing logfile' nor selecting "Use
> custom logfile" with another name does disable this error. The only
> workaround is to restart Directory Studio.
> To reproduce just try to import the same LDIF twice into an embedded server
> with Directory Studio under Mac OS X
