Lothar Haeger commented on DIRSTUDIO-915:
-----------------------------------------

Hi Pierre-Arnaud,

we can do a teamviewer or webex session if you like, please call me on skype
("lothar.haeger") so we can find a suitable time.

Cheers, Lothar

PS: undecorating the values changes the "Binary (xx Bytes)" display to a text
display that opens in hex editor on double-click. "Complete string" and NULL
displays stay as they are. Restoring standard settings does not make any change
(I did not change them in the first place, iirc)

> Attribute values of binary syntax OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.5 are
> displayed inconsistently and partly wrong. Those attributes contain base 64
> encoded text and some of them are displayed as
> - editable (inline + dialog) text
> - "Binary Data (xxx Bytes)"
> - NULL
> See attached screenshot for an example of Apache DS vs. Gawor LDAP
> Browser/Editor displayoing the same object.
