This is true for both, the "quick search" fields in the browser view, and the
"quick filter" fields in the entry editor. The problem is that the key bindings
are still assigned to the ldap view/entry editor. So when pressing ctrl+c and
ctrl+v in the edit field while an entry is selected in the ldap browser view
this is entry is copied.
