Stefan Seelmann commented on DIRSTUDIO-968:
-------------------------------------------
I assume there is something wrong with one of the XML files where the
connections are stored, see
https://directory.apache.org/studio/faqs.html#location-of-apache-directory-studio-settings
for the different files.
Please try to rename/delete the settings directory, under Windows that should
be C:\Users\<your windows user name>\.ApacheDirectoryStudio. First close
Studio, then rename it to e.g. ".ApacheDirectoryStudio-old", then start Studio
again, it will start without any connections.
> Cannot keep a new connection created in Directory Studio

> Environment: Windows 8
> Reporter: Daniel Chancogne
>
> I use Directory Studio with one connection since I installed it on my PC; but
> now I have to connect to other LDAP servers, and I try to create new
> connections: it works and I validate the connections, but when I close
> Directory Studio the new connections are lost.
> Each time I strat Directory Studio, I must create the new connections.
