Emmanuel Lecharny commented on DIRSTUDIO-986:
---------------------------------------------

Keep in mind that deleting all the values will not delete the attribute.

Yes, this is dangerous. But users are supposed to be well informed. We can
probably improve the confirmation window the way you suggest (ie, listing what
will be deleted)

Another idea would be to add a Undo command...

> Delete Attribute button (double-x) and ability to make it unavailable.

>
> I feel the 'delete attribute' button is too dangerous for many of our users.
> If pressed while selecting a value, It will delete all values with a
> confirmation window that does not list all that will be deleted. This
> button is also right beside the delete value button, making it easy to
> accidentally press.
> I would rather force my users to multi-select all the values they wish to
> delete, then hit the single-red-X 'delete value' button. Then they get a
> list of values listed in the confirmation dialogue.
> Is there a way I can set a configuration option to make this button
> grey/unavailable ?
