Studio definitely runs with Java 1.8. The capability {{osgi.ee;
filter:="(&(osgi.ee=JavaSE)(version=1.7))"}} means that 1.7 is the minimum
requrirement, but 1.8 works too. Note that Java 8 JDK is required, a JRE is not
enough.
