Hi all, I've hit a strange problem that I'm unable to reproduce and wondered if any one else has seen it ? I'm running ApacheDS 2.0.0 M17 - and have a pretty simple DIT which I've populated with 94481 user entries. I have my own client application that reads the LDAP server and populates some internal groups with the users.
What I'm seeing in that on a very rare occasion my application will suddenly 'lose' all the group members. If I then login to DiR Studio and connect to the server, I'm unable to open the DIT. It's root is listed, but dbl clicking on it does nothing. It's as if nothing is defined under the root. If I then stop and start the server, reconnect with Dir Studio then everything returns to normal - and my app also recovers and reloads the users into the groups. I've checked the log files and I don't see any issues being reported. It's almost as if the running server loses connection with the data ? Appreciate any thoughts .. Regards Paul
