With Apache DS it ist possible to allow only secure Connections.
You can configure this by setting the value of attribute
ads-confidentialityRequired to TRUE. This attribute is present in the entry
ads-serverId=ldapServer,ou=servers,ads-directoryServiceId=default,ou=config
It would be nice to make this config-option availible through Apache-Studio
Server-Configuration (for example a Checkbox "TLS enforced" or "confidentiality
Required" )
