Hi Shawn,
we are very pleased to accept your contribution.
There is a little bit of paperwork involved, and I'll take care of that
(http://incubator.apache.org/ip-clearance/ip-clearance-template.html).
Basically, we want to be sure that the code base is officially granted to The
ASF. from your side, that means we will ask for an ICLA to be fulfilled, and we
will vote you as committers.
We will also need a Software Grant that you will provide to The ASF. Nothing
fancy here, we will also drive you through this process.
Bottom line, this may take a few days, but this is a protection for The ASF,
the project and individuals in those days where Patent Trolls are pretty
active...
