Stefan Seelmann commented on DIRSTUDIO-1132:
--------------------------------------------
Hi Cristian, thanks for confirmation.
The next question is: Is the LDAP search we send to the server somehow wrong so
that the server does not return any data? Or does the server return the data
but Studio just doesn't show it? Is it possible for you to get a TCP dump (e.g.
via Wirehark)? You can also try other things:
* The "Search Logs" view on the bottom shows the LDAP search request parameters
and also the corresponding "command line", can you try to execute it and see if
it returns the data
* Right-click on the cn=configuration entry, Export as LDIF, Scope: Object,
play with "All user attribributes" and "Operational attributes" combinations
and see if the LDIF contains the data
> CN=CONFIGURATION entry on IBM Directory server shows no content

> When trying to browse the container entries inside CN=CONFIGURATION entry
> (and itself) on an IBM Directory server (IBM LDAP), it shows no content,
> where it should be the full configuration settings of the directory server,
> with their corresponding objectclasses and attributes.
> Testing this through java based ldap browser (gawor ldap browser), web-based
> ldap browsers and ldapadmin, they are able to see the contents.
