---------------------------------------

[~elecharny]Thank you very much!
I have tried the repair command on a well-working servcice, and also export the
data to ldif successly(haven't confirm if the data can import to apacheds by
ADS),but after restart the service, the data is 'missing'. So I think repair
command may not suitable in product environment.
The most important thing now is that , could you give me some suggestions on
how to recovery data from a bad default backup which can not start the service?
As the data is very important and the backup is also 'broken'.Is there any way
to access the db files in partition and export the data?

> Is there any tools that can recovery data from a apacheds service that can
> not start or data can not show correctly(maybe data index problems). As we met
> this problem, the data can not show correctly after service restart, most data
> are "missing", and now we backup data by backup default dirs, sometimes the
> apacheds service can not start using backup default, this is our worrying, if
> the service can not work ,how to recovery data?
