Emmanuel Lecharny commented on DIRSTUDIO-1166:
----------------------------------------------
What would be helpful here is a log that contains actual errors. The provided
log just contains warnings about events overflowing the app.
Regarding the file system change, {{HFS+}} can be configured in a way that
preserve case, but is case insensitve (yeah, pretty stupid). Typically,
{{abc.conf}} and {{ABC.conf}} are the same files (but they appear as {{abc}} or
{{ABC}}). I don't kow if {{APFS}} is case sensitive by default. It may have an
impact when migrating (not sure though).
Now, what if you install a new Studio instead of starting the existing one ?
> Studio crashes frequently Ever since MacOS High Sierra upgrade

> Am running Version: 2.0.0.v20170904-M13
> And the java JDK 1.8.0_121-b13
> MacOS version: 10.13.2
> It seems that whenever I hit the delete key while editing text in a dialog
> box I get a full crash.
> Also when I select a new ldap connection from my connections list (just
> clicking once not even doubleclicking to connect) Studio crashes 3 out of 4
> times. Not sure what the pattern is exactly, but it happens several times a
> day.
> 2.0.0.v20170904-M13 was great and solid until the High Seirra upgrade. Has
> been happening on every release of 10.13 since.
