Stefan Seelmann commented on DIRSTUDIO-1205: -------------------------------------------- M14 required at least Java 8 and works with Java 9-11. In ApacheDirectoryStudio.ini it defines {{-Dosgi.requiredJavaVersion=1.8}}. It would be interesting if the error happens on checking network parameters or authentication, or when actually connecting. In Lothar's stack trace I see "CheckNetworkParameterRunnable" so it was there. But in Aigo's error I only see "OpenConnectionsRunnable" so it happened when actually opening the connection. Side note: I work on a branch to remove the whole JNDI layer an JNDI provider, before merge we need to fix such issues: https://github.com/apache/directory-studio/tree/remove-jndi-provider-and-jndi-layer > Which platforms does Studio work with TLS? > ------------------------------------------ > > Key: DIRSTUDIO-1205 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-1205 > Project: Directory Studio > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: Aigo > Priority: Major > Fix For: 2.0.0-M15 > > > It sure does not work on the latest Ubuntu, as it fails the SSL handshake, > and it does the same on the latest CentOS as well.
