Emmanuel Lecharny commented on DIRSTUDIO-1205: ---------------------------------------------- At this point, there are three things that are pretty clear : 1) There is a workaround, using the JNDI API instead of the Apache LDAP API. 2) This is an open source project, delivered by volunteers that work on their free time, so nobody deserves *anything* but what it's in the box. 3) You can be part of it, if you decide to stop being a lurker. Or you can just go elsewhere use another tool that fits you need. Nobody ever forced you to use Studio. Everything else is discussion between the team members about how to fix this problem, which is clearly not simple to get around. Of course, it requires some basic knowledge about the problem to understand this simple fact... > Which platforms does Studio work with TLS? > ------------------------------------------ > > Key: DIRSTUDIO-1205 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-1205 > Project: Directory Studio > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: Aigo > Assignee: Stefan Seelmann > Priority: Major > Fix For: 2.0.0-M15 > > Attachments: ApacheDirectoryStudio.log, apacheds.log, wrapper.log > > > It sure does not work on the latest Ubuntu, as it fails the SSL handshake, > and it does the same on the latest CentOS as well.
