Philip Brown commented on DIRSTUDIO-1209:
-----------------------------------------
well, i'll start off that I'm new to directory studio.
in my early tries, there was a problem connecting to one server. But the icon
color stayed the same as the one connection that was good.
But... now I did a fresh install and config, and I do notice that live ones
have a gold icon, whereas idle ones are greyed out.
Maybe its something trigered by a connection unexpectedly breaking. Dunno :-/
This may be unreproducable.
> Connections window does not clearly indicate connection status

> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-1209
> Project: Directory Studio
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: studio-connection
> Affects Versions: 2.0.0-M14
> Reporter: Philip Brown
> Priority: Minor
>
> Reguardless of whether a connection is open or closed, the name+icon does not
> change in any way. There is no highlight, or color change, jor ANYTHING to
> indicate if the connection is live or not.
> Yes, if you individually click on each one, you can notice the separate
> open/close icon states. But that is bad interface design, especially if you
> have many connections defined.
