I am running ApacheDS 2.0.0.AM25. It has two partitions:
* the default dc=example,dc=com partition, which is not used,
* and a custom Mavibot partition, which contains all our production entries.
Over night, the context entry and all its contents in the Mavibot partition
have disappeared. When I open the server configuration in Studio, the partition
still shows up. However, when browsing (or ldapsearching), none of the entries
is there anymore.
The logs show no particular error message, however, it gives me hundres of
entries like this:

I have tried a couple of things, none of which worked:
# Run the repair command,
# restore a nightly backup of my /var/lib/apacheds directory from a point in
time where everything still worked,
# combine 2 and then 3.
The ultimately working strategy was then to set up a brand new instance of
ApacheDS and import an LDIF backup.
