Emmanuel Lecharny resolved DIRSERVER-1847.

Resolution: Fixed
I can't believe I waited 6 years before applying those patches :/
I paid the price : lot of changes in the API and server code forced me to apply
them by hand and enduring the little mistakes that made the test failing. At
the end, it now works.
