Stefan Seelmann commented on DIRSERVER-1580: -------------------------------------------- After some more small tweaks tests now run successful on my Windows 10 VM. I enabled the tests new on Windows in the Jenkins pipeline. Let's see how it goes... > Numerous JUnit tests failing on Windows, again. > ----------------------------------------------- > > Key: DIRSERVER-1580 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-1580 > Project: Directory ApacheDS > Issue Type: Bug > Components: test > Affects Versions: 2.0.0-RC1 > Environment: Windows XP, Sun JDK 1.6 > Reporter: Richard Feezel > Assignee: Stefan Seelmann > Priority: Minor > Fix For: 2.0.0-RC1 > > > JUnit tests are failing on Windows due to attempts to delete files while they > are still open. > [INFO] > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > [INFO] Building ApacheDS Server Config > [INFO] task-segment: [test] > [INFO] > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > [INFO] [remote-resources:process {execution: default}] > [INFO] [resources:resources {execution: default-resources}] > [INFO] Using 'UTF-8' encoding to copy filtered resources. > [INFO] Copying 1 resource > [INFO] Copying 3 resources > [INFO] [compiler:compile {execution: default-compile}] > [INFO] Nothing to compile - all classes are up to date > [INFO] [resources:testResources {execution: default-testResources}] > [INFO] Using 'UTF-8' encoding to copy filtered resources. > [INFO] Copying 8 resources > [INFO] Copying 3 resources > [INFO] [compiler:testCompile {execution: default-testCompile}] > [INFO] Nothing to compile - all classes are up to date > [INFO] [surefire:test {execution: default-test}] > [INFO] Surefire report directory: > C:\ADSWinFinal\trunk\apacheds\server-config\target\surefire-reports > ------------------------------------------------------- > T E S T S > ------------------------------------------------------- > Running org.apache.directory.server.config.KerberosServerConfigReaderTest > Tests run: 1, Failures: 0, Errors: 0, Skipped: 0, Time elapsed: 6.781 sec > Running org.apache.directory.server.config.DnsServerConfigReaderTest > Tests run: 1, Failures: 0, Errors: 1, Skipped: 0, Time elapsed: 1.61 sec <<< > FAILURE! > Running org.apache.directory.server.config.HttpServerConfigReaderTest > Tests run: 1, Failures: 0, Errors: 1, Skipped: 0, Time elapsed: 0 sec <<< > FAILURE! > Running org.apache.directory.server.config.DhcpServerConfigReaderTest > Tests run: 1, Failures: 0, Errors: 1, Skipped: 0, Time elapsed: 0.015 sec <<< > FAILURE! > Running org.apache.directory.server.config.ConfigPartitionReaderTest > Tests run: 1, Failures: 0, Errors: 1, Skipped: 0, Time elapsed: 0.016 sec <<< > FAILURE! > Running org.apache.directory.server.config.NtpServerConfigReaderTest > Tests run: 1, Failures: 0, Errors: 1, Skipped: 0, Time elapsed: 0 sec <<< > FAILURE! > Running org.apache.directory.server.config.LdapServerConfigReaderTest > Tests run: 1, Failures: 0, Errors: 1, Skipped: 0, Time elapsed: 0.031 sec <<< > FAILURE! > Running org.apache.directory.server.config.ChangePasswordConfigReaderTest > Tests run: 2, Failures: 0, Errors: 1, Skipped: 0, Time elapsed: 4.75 sec <<< > FAILURE! > Investigation reveals that the first test, KerberosServerConfigReaderTest, > which succeeded left files open in the working directory and subsequent test > fail while trying to clean out the working directory. The problem appears to > be with SingleFileLdifPartition which opens the file for access and provides > no explicit means of closing it other than the "doDestroy()" method which is > "protected" and therefore not available to the application to explicitly > close the partition file. > Also, the CreateKdcServerAnnotationTest was failing due to a file being left > open but I was able to solve this one by inserting the line > directoryService.shutdown(); > after the call to > server.stop(); -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@directory.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@directory.apache.org
