So when you edit an entry, you basically have access to all its attributes and
all the associated values. But this is not necessarily what you want. I suppose
that you want to manage the {{uniqueMember}} attribute and its values, by
allowing the user to pick new groups from the DIT.
The biggest issue I see here is how to qualify what is a 'group'. This is a
semantic issue. There are many {{ObjectClass}} that can qualify a group, like
{{posixGroup}}, {{groupOfnames}}, etc. Finding entries that belong to such
groups from the DIT is trivial, but selecting the appropriate elements isn't.
What I can think of for you example is to propose a list of entries belonging
to a selected {{ObjectClass}} so that you can add/delete them.
Regarding technicalities, when it comes to access the DIT, I suggest you have a
look at the {{DnValueEditor}} which makes it possible to browse the DIT to
fetch another entry's DN.
