thanks for asking, but everything works well with LDAP API 2.0.1 and server 2.0.0.AM26 so no need for a ApacheDS release. I hope to finish the password modify extended op (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-648) today, I'll create a Github PR and attach some screenshots.
