Hi Colm,

Glad to hear Kerby will have a new release.

I’ve fixed the compile issue in this commit:
https://github.com/apache/directory-kerby/commit/904f3d6dbe25e449830a48e4da7dd500d656f02f

Now can passed in my machine with following java versions:
java version "1.8.0_112"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_112-b15)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.112-b15, mixed mode)

openjdk version "1.8.0_252"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_252-b09)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.252-b09, mixed mode)

Thanks,
Jiajia

Thanks Jiajia! Please also look at my comments on:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRKRB-740

I will get another Kerby release out soon once that's addressed.

Colm.

Hi Colm, Stefan,

Sorry for missing the message.
I can maintain the HAS project because there are some projects using HAS, and I
will fix the issue ASAP.

Thanks,
Jiajia

Hi Stefan,

Yes, I've noticed this myself. Jiajia, are you still active in the project -
can you comment?

It's in the HAS project, which is kind of separate to the rest of Kerby. To be
honest, I was thinking of removing this from the next major Kerby release, as
it was contributed and then not maintained.

Colm.

Hi,

the Kerby build fails with an compile error on OpenJDK [1] (tested 8,
11, 14). I only seems to work with Oracle JDK 8 [2]. Is that known? Any
plans to fix? Or should we just disable the OpenJDK build?

Kind Regards,
Stefan
