Yea, I figured as much. Perhaps one day we’ll get you on the podium again. My
bet, it’ll be on your side of the pond. In the meantime, please take care of
your family. We’ll still be here when things quiet down.

So, maybe we can get your input via content management. You certainly can
evaluate talk submissions. Also need slides, state of the project, directory
plans, next steps.

We need to encourage others to step up here. It shouldn’t have to be you or
even me doing the talking.
If you’ve never been to an ApacheCon before, this might be a good one. New
Orleans in the fall ain’t a bad place to be.
The conference itself is certainly a favorite of mine. As much a gathering of
friends, as technologies. How we stay relevant in our fields, meeting others,
sharing viewpoints, being exposed to new ways of solving problems.
