I have noticed that functions for the Generalized Time syntax can be found in this utils package: https://nightlies.apache.org/directory/api/2.1.7/apidocs/org/apache/directory/api/util/GeneralizedTime.html Adding similar functions for Postal Adding syntax in a new class there in the package right next to Generalized Time syntax seems like a pretty obvious idea (unless someone has a reason for why this wouldn't be a good idea or where else to place it would be better).
