I'm a die-hard Linux person.... I've got one partition formatted as Reiser, 
another as XFS. Doesn't seem to make much difference which partition I use, 
whic is why I suspect the actual drive.

I've already opened that port for downloads, so if I'm understanding right, I 
shouldnt need to open any others?
