Hi Magnus,

Thanks for your email.

My name is Magnus and started P2P "mirroring" OpenOffice.org a couple of
weeks ago. (I have been a user of of Ooo since version 1.1.3 or
something like that) I decided to subscribe to the entire RRS feed
available at http://borft.student.utwente.nl/%7Emike/oo/bt.rss (It took
a couple of days to download around 30 GB. :-) ).

Nice! it's a very good thing to have more permanent seeds! Thank you!

I keep it as long as it does not disturb "normal work" too much. :-) This is my home computer so it is only powerred-on daytime, european time.

Weel, three of the torrents don't seem to be available on the network.
At least I haven't recived a single byte for these files. The files I am
talking about are:

- OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_nl.exe
- OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_install_nl.exe
- OOo_2.0.4_Win32Intel_install_ko.exe

I've removed the dead files. Since the rss is dynamically generated, this gets updated as well. So you should be alright now. What software do you use to seed the torrents? (just curious as to what people are using)

I have now stopped these seeds too. :-)

A question: When .torrent riles are removed from the RSS feed, will our BT clients be noticed too (automatically) or do we have to keep an eye on these 'old' torrents?

uTorrent. Don't know if it is the best one (= most effective and without too much bells-and-whistles), but works fine for me. :-)

English is not my first language, but I hope you understand what I mean.
Well, it's not my first language either, but I guess too few people speak dutch ;)
