Yet another question from a newbie:
Why are there duplicates of certain chinese-taiwan and chinese-china
versions on the P2P network? At least it looks like duplicates. the only
difference is CAPS and no caps for the country code:
- OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_install_zh-cn.exe
- OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_install_zh-CN.exe
- OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_install_zh-tw.exe
- OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_install_zh-TW.exe
- OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_zh-cn.exe
- OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_zh-CN.exe
- OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_zh-tw.exe
- OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_zh-TW.exe
Do they have different 'sources'/folders in the mirror network? In that
case (and of course if they really *are* identical), is it possible to
remove one of the copies from the mirror network (which automatically
removes them from the P2P download page).
From the P2P download page, these duplicates are invisible.
Sorry for all the questions, bet here I see a chance to save ~400 Mb for
each of us.
